ABOUT ME
By day, I’m a fashion designer working full-time as an Assistant Designer at EXPRESS, supporting men’s bottoms across denim and woven categories. I collaborate closely with design, technical, and production teams on CAD development, fit and construction, fabric and wash development, and the execution of styles within a fast-paced, commercially driven environment. Above all, I’m a lifelong artist whose practice is grounded in handcraft, material understanding, and sustainability.
Creativity has been a constant thread throughout my life, and a deep appreciation for textile construction—across both knit and woven fabrics—continues to inform my professional and independent work. My background in costume production and fine arts has shaped a strong foundation in craftsmanship, proportion, and detail, while my corporate experience has sharpened my ability to design within timelines, cost parameters, and brand identities.
My long-standing interest in vintage clothing, fashion history, and upcycling influences how I approach design, encouraging thoughtful material use and longevity. Alongside my corporate role, I maintain an independent design practice focused on sustainability and non-gendered silhouettes, allowing me to explore experimentation, storytelling, and material reuse in a more conceptual context.
Travel and cultural exchange have played an important role in shaping my perspective as a designer. Having lived and worked in environments ranging from North Carolina and New York to Cape Town and Milan, I draw inspiration from place, craft traditions, and local histories—insights that continue to inform both my creative process and my approach to design at scale.
I’m always interested in opportunities that foster growth, collaboration, and thoughtful design. I value environments that balance creativity with structure, and craftsmanship with commercial awareness.
