At EXPRESS, I work full-time as an Assistant Fashion Designer on the Men’s Bottoms team, contributing to the design and development of denim, chinos, and casual woven bottoms for seasonal collections. I collaborate end-to-end with cross-functional partners domestically and internationally, creating detailed CADs and tech packs, managing updates in Yunique PLM, and supporting product development from concept through production.

My role includes participating in live fit sessions and providing construction feedback to maintain consistency, quality, and design integrity across size runs. I also conduct competitive analysis and trend research, attend denim-focused trade shows, and work directly with mills to source fabrics that align with brand identity, performance needs, and margin targets. This position has strengthened my ability to balance creativity with commercial realities, speed, and precision within a large-scale, fast-paced retail environment.
